The Globe’s team of chefs, led by Chad Miskiewicz bring expertise in blending techniques and flavours from around the world to produce amazing food to tempt, excite, tantalise and surprise!
Chad was a member of the Globe Restaurant's opening team in 1998, completing his apprenticeship with the Parmelia Hilton in 2000. He then moved to Broome and was involved with the opening of a seafood restaurant before working at the Crowne Plaza, Perth as Chef de partie for 3 years. In 2005 Chad returned to the Globe Restaurant and in 2007 was promoted to Head Chef of the Globe.

What do you like most about your job?
I get to create tasty food for a living and it doesn’t feel like a job, it’s a passion.
What’s your favourite food?
Anything spicy or pasta.
What’s your favourite international restaurant and why?
Would love to try Suko in Los Angeles, interesting Japanese restaurant.
What’s your pet hate in the kitchen?
Un-seasoned food.
Cookbook you couldn’t live without?
Larousse Gastronomique.
What kitchen tool would you hate to be without?
My Chinese chopper.
What kind of wine are you enjoying right now?
Am a fan of dessert wines.
If you weren’t doing your current job what would you be doing?
Either a musician or Fireman.
Pastry Chef Liz Orchard
Liz has been with the Parmelia Hilton Perth for three years. She trained for two years at London’s Dorchester Hotel and was part of the pastry team when the hotel was awarded the Top Place in London for High Tea.
Liz has worked in Melbourne's Grand Hyatt and Sofitel and at Hayman Island resort. Liz was also the Pastry Chef at Zafferano’s at the Old Swan Brewery in Perth.
Liz has a passion for perfection and her creativity is highlighted by the intricate chocolate pieces she produces. Liz wowed guests at a Chaine des Rotisseurs dinner with her Symphony dessert – a miniature chocolate grand piano with each of the tiny music sheets on the piano having different notes.
